About the Enterprise Flight
The first Celestis Voyager Memorial Spaceflight - the Enterprise Flight – will launch from Earth and travel three million kilometers beyond the Earth-Moon system into deep space.
The Enterprise Flight, carrying cremated remains and DNA, will be hosted by Xtraordinary Innovative Space Partnerships’ Alpha CubeSat spacecraft. Alpha CubeSat serves as a precursor to future deep space missions where nanosatellites will beam information and power between spacecraft. This technology could also provide struggling communities with Earth-wide WiFi, creating jobs in ground station development, and producing clean energy from space-based solar power. Enterprise is manifested aboard a Geometric Space carrier on a Falcon 9 launch vehicle.
